Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to any customer using the services of Purity Window Cleaning ("we", "us", "our"). By using our services you agree to bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1.0 First Cleans
The first clean will generally cost up to double the cost of a regular 4 weekly clean due to the extra time spent cleaning, the extra water and administrative time. This will be an opportunity to deep clean the windows, frames, sills and doors for regular maintenance cleans. If your windows haven't been cleaned by us for over 12 weeks, we reserve the right to charge the first clean fee again.
1.1 Old windows
Old windows may suffer from blown seals, rust, hard water stains, stickers, adhesive, concrete or other imperfections. It may be possible to remove these but there may be an additional cost for this service. Please make us aware before the first clean if you believe your windows have any of the above or similar imperfections.
1.2 Cancellation
We operate on a non-contractual basis and cancellation is accepted at any time provided it is no later than 24 hours before the date of you next clean. For example, no later than 27 days in a 4 weekly agreement. We do not normally offer ad hoc cleans. By joining the round you agree to at least 3 window cleans of which are payable before cancellation is accepted.
1.3 Reliability
We will always try our best to be as reliable as possible. We will endeavour to attend on schedule but we ask for up to a week either side of this due to external factors such as weather, vehicle breakdowns or staff sickness or holidays. We will send a text message reminder the day before each clean to remind you to leave access to the whole of the property. If access is not made available on the day of the clean to the whole property, the full price of the clean will be payable.
We expect a degree of reliability from our customers regarding skipped cleans either the day before or on the day. We will endeavour to be as understanding as possible as some circumstances are unavoidable, but we reserve the right to cancel the agreement and terminate future cleans if multiple cancellations are made outside of this period.
1.4 Adverse weather
Weather conditions such as heavy rain, heavy wind, snow, ice or excessive heat may result in a delay of our services primarily due to health & safety reasons. However we will work in light rain or showers. The final decision to work will be made by us.
1.5 Obstacles
For health and safety purposes we expect that our staff should be able to work in a safe enovironment. If there are obstacles in the way making it difficult or unsafe to access parts of the property or dog mess has not been cleaned up in the parts of the garden where we would need to walk or leave a hose, then we reserve the right to not clean those parts of the property and full payment will be chargeable.
1.6 Breakages or damage
Sometimes accidents happen. If we are aware of any damage caused by our staff we will inform you as soon as possible. We hold full public liability insurance with Gleaming Insurance. Should you find any damage that has not been reported by us and you believe it be caused by us, please contact us as soon as possible.
1.7 Complaints
Complaints are taken seriously and in the unlikely event you wish to complain please contact us with your concerns and we will do all we can to make it right. We offer a 24 hour satisfaction guarantee and will return as soon as possible to reclean any windows or frames that are not to your satisfaction. We operate a no refund policy but if you are not happy with the service we will do all we can to rectify the situation.
1.8 Confidentiality
Confidentiality is taken very seriously. In line with GDPR, all your personal information is kept privately on a secure confidential database and is not shared or discussed with any other individual or business. It will only be used for the purpose of contacting you regarding the services we offer to you.
